Heritage Fellowship is a non-denominational, charismatic church, diverse in ages, backgrounds, and nationalities.  During our eleven year history, we have been spoken of as a "well of refreshing - house of restoration - place of renewal - birthing center - safe harbor."  We are a nurturing people devoted to expressive praise and worship as we exalt and serve an awesome and worthy God.

We invite you to join with us as we seek to enter into His presence, discover our individual and corporate places of ministry, share His love with others and bring increase to God's Kingdom. It is our desire to provide a place where you can genuinely worship God and be challenged to grow and make a difference in the lives of others.

When visiting Heritage Fellowship Church for the first time, we often say to people, “We really cannot tell you what to expect because each service may look different.”  In our desire to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, we have discovered that He leads us into creative expressions of worship and a diversity of corporate responses.  We do not have a set pattern or agenda, but we do place value on the triple braided cord of: Expressive Worship – Teaching of the Word – Ministry.

Besides corporate services,  there are also a number of small group ministries that fall into the following categories:  Focused Groups – Fellowship Groups – Special Interest Groups.  These are opportunities for people to grow spiritually and to build relationships.

The following  would be characteristic of our times together :

Expressive Forms of Worship

  • Clapping
  • Dancing
  • Shouting
  • Kneeling
  • Lifted hands
  • Singing of Scripture courses and hymns
  • Spontaneous songs
  • Visuals created through the use of flags and banners

Teaching of the Word

  • A  significant portion of most services is devoted to the teaching of the Word.

Ministry Time

Personal or corporate times of ministry make take place in response to worship or the teaching.   At times, during personal prayer ministry, people may  be so overcome by the Holy Spirit that they can no longer stand and find themselves laying before the Lord and being touched  by His Spirit in a peaceful, restorative and refreshing way.

Offering Time

Friendliness

It  is   our desire to create a very caring and loving atmosphere .

Forgiveness and Hope Baskets

During our worship times, you might see people walk to the front  and  place a paper in a basket on stage.   Using the Hope basket  is simply a symbolic way to lay desires and hopes before the Lord.   Normally  between 2 and 3 thousand  "hopes" are placed in the basket in a year.  Others may place a written statement of forgiveness in the forgiveness basket , again symbolically laying issues on the altar.

Sowing Seed

During the teaching of the Word, people may come and place an offering on the stage as a way of  "sowing seed" or honoring the word that was just spoken, desiring for that word to bear fruit in their lives or the lives of others.

Meet and Greet

During some services we make take just a few moments to let people personally meet and greet one another.
