Heritage Fellowship is a non-denominational church, diverse in ages, backgrounds, and nationalities.
Our gatherings are a place to experience God, build relationships, and take part in the life of a church family. We value expressive worship, teaching of the Word, and ministry. Here’s a look at what to expect — we hope you feel at home, connected, and able to engage fully in what God is doing during our services. |
WHAT TO EXPECT
Expressive Worship: Throughout Scripture, we see worship expressed through singing, clapping, lifting hands, dancing, and joyful praise (Psalm 47:1, Psalm 63:4, 2 Samuel 6:14). Expressive worship is a biblical response to God’s goodness, inviting us to engage wholeheartedly and encounter His presence in a deep, personal way. At times flags and banners may be used in the worship service - each color declares an aspect of God’s nature and character. For example: red represents the blood of Jesus, green symbolizes life, and gold signifies His glory.
Teaching: We are committed to biblical teaching that is rooted in God’s Word and relevant for everyday life. We believe true transformation comes not just from hearing the Word, but from living it out—so our heart is to equip people to walk in obedience as they apply truth in every area of their lives.
Fellowship: We intentionally create moments in our services for connection because we believe community matters. Our desire is to foster a culture where people experience authentic relationships and the love of God through one another.
Ministry: At certain points in the service, people may come forward to pray, receive encouragement, or respond to God’s invitation. This is a space to encounter Him personally and experience prayer and support from others. (Matthew 18:20, 1 Thessalonians 5:11, Galatians 6:2I)
Sharing: At times someone will share a word, testimony, or encouragement that is intended to edify and build up the church. The Facilitator helps guide the flow of these moments. (1 Corinthians 14:3)
Giving: Giving is an act of worship. Tithes and offerings support the church, our ministries, and God’s work locally and globally. It’s a way to partner with Him in His kingdom. (2 Corinthians 9:7)
Forgiveness & Hope Baskets: At the front of the stage, you’ll see our Hope and Forgiveness Baskets — simple, tangible ways to respond to God. The Hope Basket is for writing prayers, dreams, or burdens you’re laying before the Lord. The Forgiveness Basket gives you a chance to release someone or a situation into God’s hands. Everything is confidential — while prayer teams pray over it, no one reads them. This is a way to take a simple, physical step of faith, inviting God to work in your heart. (Ephesians 4:32, Romans 15:13)
Communion: At Heritage, communion is a regular part of our life together. We have elements available every Sunday, and we believe that followers of Jesus are welcome to partake whenever they feel led. In addition, we also share times of corporate communion during the service, coming together as a community to remember Christ’s sacrifice and celebrate His presence with us. (1 Corinthians 11:23-26)

Ways We Do Community
|
Sunday Service: The large, corporate gathering of our church community every Sunday. Our gathering is always centered on worshipping God, the teaching of the Word, ministry to one another and connecting with others.
Home Groups: are small gatherings of 10-20 people who meet in person or online to fellowship, discuss a recent Sunday message, and pray together. |
