Is your identity healthy? It's hard to know who you are if your identity is misplaced, fractured, broken, crushed, hidden, trapped, or lost. What you believe about God determines who you become. His thoughts about you, according to scripture, are more powerful than words spoken over you and thoughts you may have about yourself. Use the self-evaluation table below to determine if your identity is healthy. The left side shows false identities you may have aligned yourself with, while the right side is what God says about you. Quiet yourself and take time to evaluate all the thoughts that may come as you think through the questions of where you fit in this list of identities. Where the enemy wants to speak a lie about your identity, listen to what the Father wants to say, because nothing else matters. Let the Lord dig deep in the strongholds of lies you have believed, and give God the permission to go deep and speak his identity of freedom over you.
